This time it’s not just me.
This time I’m SURE it’s not just me.
Good people, I turn to you trying to prove my sanity. It may be an almost impossible task, (believe me, I’ve tried many a time. I eventually gave up. My argument was ruined when I claimed they were in league with the Raccoons.) I need you good people to confirm something for me.
Is it just me, or when you open many tabs at once, there are voices, OR MUSIC, that you have to search through the many tabs to find. THIS HAS HAPPENED TO ME FAR TOO MANY TIMES! The worst thing is when you search through all the tabs, and there is no mini window or ad that you can close, and no player that you can pause. Basically, the voice/noise, has now become a ninja. Undetectable. This is the worst when the room is deadly quiet. This just happened to me, in a completely SILENT room. After frantically searching for the source of the noise, but not finding it, I began to get more and more frantic. So I started closing tabs. Now, this is risky for several reasons; you might close a highly important tab, or one you can’t remember how you got to, and so you desperately start yelling at the screen, something along the lines of; “GIVE ME BACK MY TAB YOU STUPID INTERWEB CREATURE! AND WHERE THE HELL IS THAT STUPID NOISE COMING FROM?” Then you eventually turn into a sobbing mess pleading with your computer to stop being so mean. Or, the worst thing is when you are left with just the noisy tab, and in panic close the window, unable just open a new tab and see all the tabs you closed, thanks to Windows 7.
All in all, not a fun experience for anyone.
I’m tired after all that ranting.

you have no idea how many times that has happened to me. sometimes i even close the whole thing down in spite of myself just to find that the noise was coming from another window benethe the other that i didn’t even know existed. pissed me off. so you’re not as insane as you think they are.
your’s truly,
In league with the racoons
It’s quite comforting to know that it’s not just me! It can be quite infuriating.
Thanks for commenting!

The same thing used to happen to me so I know what you mean. The solution to this is in the menu at the top of the screen (internet browser). If you have firefox, you can decide to not load pages until you select them. That way you won’t have over a thousand pages screaming at the same time and you can just delete the ones you’re not using anyway
Hope this helped
